Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I want your used kid stuff!

Secondhand Mommy was started in Summer 2011 as a place to share how I save money, make money, get out of debt, and have some frugal family fun. I love a good yard sale, consignment sale and Craigslist ad where I can find gently used clothes, toys, and gear to use with my own kids or to resell online. It's fun to report my successes (and even failures) and to learn from others doing the same!

Besides shopping and selling, I love travel, photography, and ice cream. I have a Master of Media Arts degree from the university of South Carolina and after a few years of working in the entertainment industry, I am a stay at home mom. Originally from New England, I currently live in the Virginia suburbs of DC with my growing family.
